This beautiful square-shaped signet ring has been designed and lovingly crafted in our London workshops, measuring approx. 11mm x 11mm and a depth of 1.5mm to the top, this square shape is a popular signet ring and ideal for seal engraving or surface engraving.
We have specialist hand engravers with a combined experience of over 150 years in reproducing your family crests or initials to your specifications.
The signet ring is almost certainly the first type made for practical purposes, dating back to ancient times.
Until the end of the Regency period, only gentlemen were entitled to wear signet rings. Each ring had a seal unique to the gentleman who wore it. Today the tradition of wearing a signet ring with a family crest is still very popular with both ladies and gentlemen, especially in the City of London. Please note that weights and size may vary because these rings are hand finished also, depending on the finger size.
Stocked in finger size V. Other sizes can be made to special order in approximately ten working days for delivery or collection in-store.
