This cute little hollow unicorn pendant, is made in 9ct yellow gold and is said by some to bring good luck.
The unicorn is a legendary animal that has been described by many ancient civilizations, even before the middle ages, as a beast with a large spiralling horn projecting from its head and has long been depicted through the years in heraldry, and is to this day best known as one of the heraldic symbols of Scotland. The unicorn was chosen by the Scots because it was seen as a proud haughty beast which would rather die than be captured. The unicorn is also used in the royal coat of arms of Queen Elizabeth II, as used in England.

Mythical Creature
The unicorn is a legendary creature that has been described since antiquity as a beast with a single large, pointed, spiralling horn projecting from its forehead. The unicorn was depicted in ancient seals of the Indus Valley Civilization. It was mentioned by the ancient Greeks in accounts of natural history by various writers, including Ctesias, Strabo, Pliny the Younger, Aelian and Cosmas Indicopleustes. The Bible also describes an animal, the re’em, which some versions translate as unicorn.
