Approximate dimensions from the top of the jump ring bail to the bottom 15mm x 7mm x 4mm.
Approximate dimensions of the pendant only without the top jump ring & bail 9 x 7 x 4mm.
The oval Iolite stone measures approximately 8mm x 6mm and is set in a traditional rub-over setting.

Iolite can appear sapphire-like blue to violet in colour and although the mineral has a history that dates back hundreds of years, the actual gemstone ‘iolite’ is considered to be relatively new and less well known. A very beautiful colour and a great alternative to sapphire at a fraction of the cost of a good sapphire, at the moment, who knows what will happen to the price once this beautiful stone becomes more well known.
